"I honestly have not experienced better service at any optical shop in my twelve years of using corrective lenses. I can't speak for the in-person service but as an eyeglass wearer in Cambridge, MA, getting my glasses installed with nose pads all the way in California at World Optic worked out much better than anywhere I could find locally.
I moved during the return shipping process and the postal service mistook my address with another street of the same name in a neighboring area. This messed up a bunch of my mail but of all the packages I was to receive, only World Optic's package got to me through persistent and just plain terrific customer service, with the shop following up with USPS frequently as well as touching base with me to make sure things got to the right place. It took a while (postal service's fault) but I'm glad to finally have received my glasses when circumstances like this would most likely have left me with a lost package."

I had to call them to ask them where I could post a comment bc I wantto make sure people understand their professionalism as well as their UNBELEVABLE PRICING!! "I give these guys 5-stars because they're knowledgeable about eyewear and the industry, they have an extensive product line of sports eyewear, they have a fast turn-around, they're helpful over the phone, their prices are good and they give Costco members a 10% discount.
To give you an idea how cheap they are, I bought a new pair of sport glasses for MTB biking and went to Costco to have them make the prescription lenses. Costco said they don't do prescription sportswear anymore but referred me to World Optic.
Well World Optic's price for the Rx inserts was $81 for a high-impact polycarbonate lens. Costco's price from 9 years ago was $87. But the real whopper, Wal*Mart's price would have been $175 for a similar lens due to my high prescription.
Also World Optic started out as an Optical Lab. So if they have your blanks in stock, they can turn-around in 1 or 2 days since they do the cutting on site. If they have to order your blank, it takes 2 or 3 days for turn-around. Most optometrists I've visited have to send out their glasses and lenses to a separate lab and this can take 1 or 2 weeks to get them back!"

"It can be tough to find a new place to get glasses, but 2 five star reviews were enough to convince me to give World Optic a try. They have a fairly large selection of glasses, and the prices were better than I'd found elsewhere nearby. They handled my insurance with no problems and the glasses were ready within a few days (it would have been 3 days if not for a holiday weekend).
I'm quite pleased with them and I'll be back next time I need new glasses."

"These guys are Great! They actually offer free postage on website to send your glasses in for repairs, which I took advantage of. I live about 20 miles away and always on the run, and happened to be in the area a few days later and called to see if I could drop by to pick up my sunglasses. They were very helpful with directions and had my Chanel sunglasses fixed and ready, looking like nothing ever happened! Amazing work! "Whether you walk in off the street or shoot them call, World Optic offers an incredible service with a "clear vision" of customer satisfaction. I have just recently ordered my 5th pair of glasses with them and each time I keep coming back because they stand behind their products and craftsmanship. In particular, I have had the opportunity to interact with owners Ray and his father, a "master" optician who started the business out his garage several decades back, as well as Dave and Chris who bring a wealth of knowledge and super positive vibe to the "spectacle" selection process.
